Tomato

All we need to grow tomatoes is to find suitable soil for vegetables, a large flowerpot and tomato seedlings. If you want, you can grow seedlings from seed first. Then you can plant your seedlings in a wide pot. You can use wooden or metal bars to support the growing branches.

Cucumber

You should plant the cucumber seedlings that you have purchased in a wide pot, with a distance of at least 10 cm between them. Pole cucumber seedlings are more suitable for growing in pot. The growing cucumber branches are wrapped in wooden or metal cubes, allowing them to grow upwards. Another thing you should be aware of while growing cucumber is that you should not damage the cucumber leaf. If the leaves are damaged, your cucumbers will have a bitter taste.

Lettuce

Lettuce is a humic-soil-loving vegetable. It quickly deteriorates in soil with a high amount of acid. Therefore, soil selection is important. The pot you are using does not need to be too deep. You should be careful not to take the flowerpot directly in the summer.

Parsley

To grow parsley, soil rich in peat care should be preferred. Parsley loves loose soil, so you can mix humic soil and peat soil to get high nutrient and loose soil. The pot you are using should not be too deep and the seeds should not be planted too deep.

Fresh Onions

Plant the onion shallots you bought in the peat soil with the thin parts up. Or you can cut the root part of the fresh onions you buy at the market 4-5 cm in length and sew directly. It will be sufficient to water it with a spray every two days. You should put your pot in a place that will not be exposed to direct sun.

Garlic

All you have to do is cut the garlic into the cloves and plant it with the tip up, without peeling. You should plant your garlic at least 10 cm deep and there should be a distance of about 30 cm between the two cloves. Because a clove will turn into a head of garlic. If you plant it in a flower pot, it must have a volume of at least 3 liters and be at least 25 cm deep.

Bell Pepper or Ornamental Pepper

A mixture of garden soil, peat and fertilizer should be prepared. Pepper seeds should be planted at least 3 cm deep in the soil. Your seedlings should not be planted in the original pot without at least 4 leaves. Pepper is ready to be planted in about 3 weeks. You should plant your seedling in a pot of at least 20 cm. After your seedling has 8 leaves, you should cut off the top two leaves. This will allow your seedling to branch out.

Mint and Basil

The cultivation of mint and basil is similar because they come from the same family. You can plant the seeds in the soil containing peat or organic fertilizers. If you do not want to use seeds, keep the mint stems in water so that they germinate. You can leave a few leaves on top of the mint stems. then sew so that the leafy parts are outside. If you cut with your scissors when your mint grows, your mint will continue to grow.
